Stamatis Bakogiannis was born in 1977 in Athens.

 

He has been a member of the Physiotherapists Association since 2003.

 

He studied Physiotherapy in 1997 at the Semmelweis University faculty of physical education and sport sciences (TF) human kinesiology - specialization in physiotherapy from where he received his diploma in 2001.

 

In 1997 he took part in the Panhellenic Federation of Associations of Parents and Guardians of People with Special Needs.

 

In 2000 he participated in the Special Olympics as an attendant and Coach in a basketball team.

 

In 2002 he worked at the Athens Gymnastics Academy (TEEFA) as a Physiotherapist for 2 years.

 

In 2007, he graduated from the AKADIMIA of Ancient Greek & Traditional Chinese Medicine, where he was initiated into the art of Acupuncture. His teacher and collaborator from 2007 to 2019 was Dr. Alexander Tilikidis.

 

He was a collaborator and Head of the Clinic at the AKADIMIA of Ancient Greek & Traditional Chinese Medicine for 12 consecutive years, where he provided Acupuncture and Physiotherapy services.

 

Postgraduate training in China, 2006 Tianjin and 2010 Beijing, on Traditional Chinese Medicine, in 4 University Hospitals:

1. Beijing, Traditional Medicine Training Center of World Federation of Acupuncture and Moxibustion Societies. Wang Jing Hospital of CACMS.
